Objective
As approaches to key issues may differ from one region to another, the success of an arbitration greatly depends on a good understanding of local legal cultures and attitudes. This conference is a key forum for understanding international commercial arbitration in Latin America and aims to shed light on the latest developments in the region. Over the past five years it has received 3,193 requests for arbitration from all over the world. Of the 8,499 parties involved it the cases filed with the ICC Court, almost 12% come from Latin and the Caribbean.
